I'm an artist based in the Driftless Region along the Mississippi River, a part of the country known for its distinct landscape and deep sense of history. Living in a place where the past feels close—where stories and memories seem layered into the geography—is something I find really inspiring.
My art often explores how familiar symbols and images—like ones found in folk art or Western iconography—carry meaning over time. I like reimagining them through a personal lens, letting them shift and evolve, like old songs that change a little with each generation.
